Lilac Creative partnered with Zero Abuse Project's web developers to create many of the visuals, videos and graphics you'll find on SurvivorSpace, a website & resource for adult survivors of CSA (childhood sexual abuse) that is home to information and interactive tools. Our goal was to make this site modern, interactive, and rich with multimedia content that survivors can engage with.
SurvivorSpace features a host of interactive multimedia content include interactive poems, Tolstoy choose-your-own-adventure videos, and a sample intake form that CSA survivors can fill out privately before speaking with an attorney.
We crafted an emotional promotional video for the launch of SurvivorSpace in April 2023, also Child Abuse Prevention Month. It focuses on the fact that many CSA survivors do not have digital resources to help guide them through their journey of recovery and healing. We utilized professional stock video footage, screen recordings of the website, animation and stock audio to craft a promo video introducing SurvivorSpace. This video was used in the marketing campaign for the website launch and currently lives on the site's About page.
We filmed and edited multi-part Tolstoy videos to create an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure style experience for visitors to the website. This type of content allows for quicker access to the information the viewer is looking for and also adds a personal touch. Staff can use their Tolstoy account to track the analytics and engagement with each video to see what's working well and what needs improved.
